   <title>European Commission Threat to the British Banger  </title>
	<description>On 22 May 2013, the Standing Committee on Food Chain and Animal Health (part of the  European Commission) meets in Brussels to decide the fate of our British Banger. <br><br>UNISON expects the UK Food Standards Agency representative at the meeting, who represents the UK Government, to vote through changes to pig inspection in UK abattoirs which will increase the chance of tumours and abscesses entering the human food chain. <br><br>UNISON is campaigning to oppose these changes.</description>
